Hence

into the air
the earth
the water
the wonder
the tomorrow you climbed
to the now
without looking back

your gilded hair
the wind
to gather
flow
behind
alas away
beyond you
or me
to us
yes thence

avalanche of yesterdays
a thousand bats of your eyelashes
glitter all that remains

a dew on stone on leaf on skin on eyes for more ever more
anew

more yes more now more tomorrow more breath of us more cry more laugh more see more run more love more joy more
and more
anew

and I
I am now
but the air around your hair
flowing
to my shores
there lap
and dance
sputter out of life
die
as every cosmic mote and fleck has ever wished
oblivion in that yon us
is joy

and so I watch
the air
the water
the earth
the leaf
the breeze
the past gathering fore
to now
succumb
in love

to pray
it will hold me
bear me
to far side of risen falls
my end beckons

still I
wallow linger lap froth murmur cry
to live it in
in love it on
succumb
this love

Yes
You
